What is Unique about CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health?
CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health has been providing addiction and mental health services to infants, children, adolescents and their families for over 25 years. CASA is recognized as a family-centred, community driven organization that is focused on the prevention and early identification, and assessment and treatment of addiction and mental health disorders.
CASA’s story began when a group of dedicated families and community leaders came together to address a need for accessible, quality mental health services for children and their families. Now operating out of four facilities, including the brand new CASA Centre, CASA serves over 4,000 infants, children, adolescents, and their families each year from Edmonton and Northern Alberta.
Our young patients have one or several mental health conditions, which could include depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal feelings, self-harm, social withdrawal, addictions, or fetal alcohol spectrum Disorder. CASA offers over 20 unique programs that meet the specific needs of these children and their families.
